conferencewithUS at the University of Sheffield is in the process of investing over £160 million in refurbishing its conference and events facilities; creating two new conference and accommodation villages and building 2000 new en-suite bedrooms, (making us the largest accommodation provider in Sheffield).

At the centre of this investment is The Endcliffe Village, 12 miles from the M1, just 10 minutes drive from Sheffield city centre attractions. The village includes two distinct conference venues, The Edge and Halifax, equipped with flexible meeting space, café, bar and dining facilities

Halifax
Newly refurbished last year, the former steel baron’s Victorian mansion Halifax is located a short five minute walk from The Edge and is available for day delegate business. With a good selection of small and large rooms, Halifax is ideally suited for smaller meetings, away days and training days. Each room has been sympathetically refurbished combining original 19th century features with state of the art conference equipment. The venue also benefits from landscaped gardens, perfect for summer events and barbecues.
