Quarterhouse, Folkestone’s performing arts and business centre, opened in March 2009 and has already attracted a wide range of music, theatre, comedy and family performances including Michael McIntyre, Sean Lock, and the team at BBC Kent Introducing. It is also the home venue for Folkestone Book Festival, Stand Up! Comedy Festival and The Hook Music Festival.

Our flexible auditorium space can accommodate up to 250 seated or 450 standing as well as cabaret style seating for up to 120. Quarterhouse also offer a range of business suites and meeting rooms and can cater for conferences and seminars for up to 250 delegates. The building also houses the stunning Quarterhouse Bar & Restaurant, serving delicious meals, snacks and a range of quality beers, wines and cocktails. Quarterhouse has quickly become an important social hub and a flagship building within the Creative Quarter.
